Being around children is inspiring because I get to look at the world from their candid perspective. I try to protect that and avoid technology as much as possible while babysitting. I enjoy babysitting for many reasons. One is that it's fun. I love playing active games, dancing, being silly, crafts, and resetting my caliber for wonder. I am also an aspiring pediatric dietitian. I enjoy planning meals, making lunches, and choosing nutritious snacks. You can be assured that I will not give your children candy, unless you ask me to. I am a full-time student and recent graduate of culinary school. When I'm not studying or spending time with little kids I love to cook, bake, read, volunteer and learn about the world. I have a 4 year old niece and 6 year old nephew who I watch on occasion. From time to time I also care for other little kids whose parents I have met through word of mouth. Although, I do encourage children to be independent and try to inspire curiosity and thirst for learning. I have experience with many different facets of childcare. I can do full-day, date night babysitting, after-school care, cook meals, light housework, overnight sitting, and I can drive children to and from school, activities, play dates, sports, and birthday parties. If your children like dogs, I have a very child-friendly, potty-trained, hypoallergenic Maltese-poodle who does not even shed! I can bring her around if you would like, but this is an added option, not a requirement. I can leave her at home any time! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
