Hi ! My name is Ava DeCapri and I am a 23 year old recent graduate in Industrial Design from the California College of the Arts. I recently worked at Chabot Elementary as a Teaching Assistant(2012) in the Arts program and have experience working at the Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco (2011) and as a camp counselor at a McGaw YMCA sleep-away Camp in Michigan (2006-2009). I have previously been certified as a lifeguard and have been trained in first aid and CPR, though am not currently registered as such. I have had experience babysitting 1-4 children at a time within the ages of 1-13 in a 4 year long career based in Chicago Illinois. I am a creative and outdoors-oriented person and have experience leading groups of children in activities. I have specific experience in teaching art to kids including and not limited to basic drawing techniques, paper Read more crafts, stop-motion animation, inventive building, etc. I cook frequently at home and am comfortable in the kitchen. I have a golden-doodle dog at home and am used to taking care of cats as well. I am currently searching for a job within the competitive design field and am looking for a part time, not necessarily long term, but rewarding babysitting gig facilitating and teaching kids. I am available on a very flexible schedule, but I want to be upfront and let you know that I will most likely have a more limited schedule soon.
