Hi there! My name is ElleJay. I am 25 years old, and I live in south San Jose. As a former educator at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, I love working with and engaging children of all ages! I also spent time working and interning at a public library where I helped implement a young adult/middle school volunteer program and did story time for children six and under. I have a Bachelors of Science from Dominican University where I majored in Natural Science and minored in Chemistry and Mathematics. During my undergraduate, I was a tutor and a TA in Chemistry and Geology courses. I started beginning coursework in a Library Information Science Masters program in 2011 that I plan to restart later this year with aspirations to become a Children's and Young Adult Librarian.
