Hello! I am 19 years old, and in my second year at College of Marin, hoping to transfer into a nursing program. I have always loved working with kids, and have been babysitting since I was about 15, both for families around my town, and for my little sister (she's currently 6 years old). In April of 2013, I began working at the Mill Valley Community Center in the pool as a swim instructor as well as in the daycare, working with children ages 1-8. December of that year I began working as a lifeguard, and that spring I became certified as a Lifeguard/CPR Instructor as well. My job there made me realize just how much I enjoy caregiving and working with kids, and inspired me to become an Au Pair abroad. This past Summer I spent in Valencia, Spain working for a family as an Au Pair/English tutor for Read more the two children aged 8 and 13. I am headed back to my job at the community center, but after Au Pairing I would love to spend more time working for other families in the evenings.
