Hello! My name is Jolene Domingo. I am currently a first year college students at Menlo College double majoring in finance and international management. During high school, I received my school's community service award for volunteering as a teacher's assistant at a local elementary school for 2 consecutive years. I grew up surrounded by children because my family loves to grow, making me very experienced in child care. Words on a paper or on a screen does not really reflect one's personality; therefore, an interview with your family would be best to show and explain why I would go beyond the standards of being a sitter. This job is a perfect fit for me because I have the necessary experience and attitude. I volunteered as a teacher's assistant at my local elementary school for two years in addition to some on-the-side volunteering in my community. I was also captain of Read more my high school's cheer leading team for two years. These positions have helped me improve my understanding for others, responsibility, humility, and integrity. I also learned how to be a good leader as well as a teammate. More importantly, I learned the importance of being a positive figure in my community. I am interested in this position because I genuinely enjoy interacting with children. I believe it is important to have a job that is enjoyable and fun. Growing up, I helped raise my younger brother and a few of my little cousins. Taking care of children is like second nature to me. I also recognize how hectic a household can become and want to help create a peaceful, organized environment.
