I have over a decade of experience working with children in various capacities: coaching, tutoring, nannying, etc. I am the daughter of a school teacher (and chef) and have invested countless hours in elementary classrooms doing everything from leading math groups to instructing yoga and mindfulness meditations. I have experience engaging and connecting with children from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, individually and in groups. At the City of Laguna Niguel, as a Recreation Leader, I developed a keen understanding of play, while simultaneously promoting team building, self expression and athletic evolution. As a volunteer coaching youth basketball, I learned the skills and techniques of leadership, encouragement, motivation and healthy critique. I truly love to work with children in cultivating their talents; nothing is more rewarding than experiencing real trust, boosted confidence and personal growth from your students. I appreciate that I have had the opportunity to care for children in this format in bustling NYC, as well as a smoother, sunnier San Diego. The experience has allowed me to see firsthand the difference in demographic and understand culture in various avenues. I am humbly proud to say that I am emotionally mature, spiritually centered and very aware of myself and my surroundings. I am looking forward to continued growth and success in a family that is a true fit for all parties.
