Hi, My name is Katelyn and I would love to reach out! I studied child development for 2 years before having my own baby in June 2016. My plan was to be a pre-school teacher, but now I am so blessed to be a stay at home mommy to my sweet baby boy. I have been babysitting since I was little, started changing diapers at age 5. My whole life has always revolved around children. I have nannied for different families over the course of about 5 years and I have had amazing experiences with each family. I have nannied/babysat for infants- jr. high age. I also worked for the Boys&Girls club where we had about 250 kids 1st grade-middle school. There, I ran a reading program as well as two mentoring programs and tutored 1st-2nd graders. Working there was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was Read more honored to help and witness those children learn and grow in all aspects of their lives. I have been out of the country 4 times to help kids in need, whatever that may entail for them. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with children here, now with a new perspective! My last job was nannying for a baby boy, but I had to leave to have my baby and unfortunately that family (who was wonderful) needed someone to replace me right away. I have a heart for God and it makes my day brighter to serve through helping with children, because they bring me so much joy! I loved working in child care at church as well.I have single handedly cared for up to 4 infants at once. I am married and have lived in San Diego for a year and a half now! I love being out doors and getting the children out to have fun!!
