Hi, my name is Ana Villanueva, I am 27 years old and am in my last semester at SDSU majoring in Child and family development (where I also just completed interning at the SDSU Childrens Center). I moved to San Diego 10 years ago from a very small town in northern California and have been working my way through school. In doing so, I found myself a part of the before and after school programs (pre K to 5th grade) that help students with academics, fitness, crafts and social skills. I have also had the opportunity to work at several summer camps as both a camp counselor and swim instructor. It is because of all these opportunities that I have realized my passion for working with children and how influential we can be in their development.
