About 17 years ago I got some exciting news that I was going to be an aunt. While being young myself, I did not know what this meant. Years passed by and I was given the responsibility to babysit my nephew. I did not know what to expect but I soon learned how to bathe, feed, and essentially take care of a child. I now have 5 nephews and a niece who always request me whenever they need a babysitter. Being an auntie to so many children has given me the confidence to take care of a child of all ages. I refuse to be a babysitter that sits down and watches TV while the children play. Instead, I rather interact with the child and help them learn. I believe a child's early development is essential to adulthood. We'll play, learn, and most importantly have a fun time together!
