Hi, my name is Mitchell. I'm originally from northern Minnesota and just moved to Pacific Beach with my girlfriend after living in Phoenix for the past 3 years. I have a BA degree in Mass Communication from UW-Superior and my work background is photography and video production. After moving to Phoenix in 2011, I met my girlfriend, Taylor, and regularly helped her babysit a brother and sister in Chandler, AZ for a year. Aiden was 4 and Madeline was 8 months when we started. Because they weren't in school or activities we would often spend full days or even overnights with the kids at the house. Their father, Mike, is an airline pilot and was gone for days at a time. And their mother, Gina, stayed at home but has anxiety and insomnia so she would need support for the kids while she tried to get some sleep after several Read more nights of little rest. The kids were amazing. They loved both Taylor and I and we had fun running around with them, going swimming, playing outside, and watching a movie from time to time. Aiden tended to have his jealous moments when our attention was turned to Madeline so we had to be creative with how we dealt with that. He also didn't like sharing and Madeline loved playing with her brother so she often took his toys to play with, which would make him upset. Overall, they were a bright spot in our day when we got to spend time with them.
