I have always loved kids and raised half of my cousins since I was a kid myself from infants to young children. Currently helping to raise my 5 year old nephew and 10 month old niece 4 days a week through Sept 26th. After the 26th I am available for weeknight or weekend or possibly weekday for date night, running errands, or covering for your sitter/nanny. Availability will change each week as I have a full time retail job but I will post update for the following week by Friday morning. Most of my availability will likely be weeknights. As a former career professional, this change in work environment is less stressful, more fun, and has prepared me with 20+ years of experience for the day I start my own family. I play and care for the children and try to find things that help them learn. My nephew enjoys Read more going to the library to find new books and on the days we work on learning, he has fun with the flash cards I bought him or we try to find ways to be interactive when learning. I am fun loving but do care for children as if they were my own with the proper structure that they need. Many friends have asked if 'Auntie Janice' can watch their kids. I can do some cooking if needed and putting away of toys, games, or other activities. I have had CPR training in the past but need to bring it to current status. Planning to take certification course in October.
