My name is Lauryn Velez, a born and raised San Diego native. I have been married to my husband for five yeas now and we have a beautiful two year old daughter. I currently work in La Jolla Presbyterians church child care department providing day care from 9:00-5:00 three days out of the week for seven children ranging from ages 5 months- 4 years old. I have been working through La Jolla Presbyterian Church since 2007. I started babysitting at 13 years old if we go all the way back to the beginning. Since then I went to college and received my degree in photographic journalism, met my husband and became a mom which brought me back to my roots in child care. It gave me the beautiful opportunity to be with my own baby more!
