My name is Keira. I'm a psychology major in San Diego. I am working on becoming a social worker but in the meantime, I'm enjoying being a babysitter. I have studied child development, and I'm CPR certified. Most of my experience has been watching toddlers and young children aged 2-6. I've been entertaining little ones for about 3 years now. I've always had a full house growing up and little cousins to watch after and set an example for- so it seems to come naturally. Of course, I like to know what is expected of me when I'm introduced to a new family so I can make the transition as comfortable as possible for the child I'm caring for. I try to avoid watching cartoons and opt for arts and crafts, reading, outings to nearby parks or pools. I'm not embarrassed to play pretend, I've been desensitized to cooties, and Read more I'd rather go for walks or play outside than sit in front of the tv. I'm admittedly no chef, but if your kid likes mac and cheese or pb & j, he or she is in luck!
