Hi there, My name is Katie Hibbard and I am a freshman at Point Loma Nazarene University this year. I have some free time this semester, therefore want to share my contact with families who could use my help during the day or for date nights as a babysitter. I could not be happier as a freshman at Loma, but do miss hanging out with young, energetic kids because I used to babysit a lot when I was in high school and also grew up around my nieces and nephews. I have more than seven years of experience babysitting as well as experience in helping with after school child-care programs. For 3 summer sessions of VBS, I thoroughly enjoyed helping and getting to know kids at my local church. I also worked with 3-10 year olds for 3 weeks this past summer at a summer day camp (8am-3pm), educating and Read more exciting the kids about being out in nature; survival tips, sustainable alternatives, and different crafts such as sewing, planting, gardening, cooking ect. Needless to say, I love being around children; helping them, supporting them in what they are interested in, and creating memories with them is something that I am passionate about.
