Along with building a public skatepark, and owning a retail store, I've supported active lifestyles associated with action sports for the past 20yrs. I've given lessons to children along with adults, I still currently give a hand at a facility in North County San Diego. Before moving out west I sat a 2yr old for nearly a year and taught him to skateboard before he could even run without being awkward, it's now one of his passions and he takes lessons where his home is, it's something that makes me very proud, including one of the kids that would hang out at my shop after school who just graduated college. The past 5+ years I've worked in the ceramic arts field and visiting schools from elem-college levels were a daily experience, I firmly believe art is another fantastic outlet for people whether they be 2 or 82 and it's a Read more major part of my life.
