Hi there! I am a Connecticut native, but new resident of San Diego, CA. I have worked as an outdoor educator and science teacher for the past five years. Kids make me laugh and remind me to find fun in every moment! My babysitting style is not sitting on my phone or watching TV, but rather actively engaging and interacting with the children I care for. My experience with children spans 10 years; through high school, college, and post-college as a marine science instructor in Southern CA. I also have experience substitute teaching K-5 and helping with homework. After 8 years (and counting) of CPR/First Aid and lifeguarding, I have a excellent eye for safety in and out of the water.
