Hello! My name is Jackie and I just recently graduated from San Diego State University. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. I want to be a Speech Language Pathologist and work with children in the future. I have been a babysitter for about 8 years now and I have been a nanny over summer breaks. I also have worked at a clinic for children with developmental delays for 4 years and worked as a therapist assistant with children 18 months to three years old. I have babysat children anywhere from 5 months to 12 years old. I love babysitting because I love just being able to forget about any stress in my life and devote my hours of babysitting to making sure the kids have fun. Being around children means you automatically have to smile, be playful, and sensitive. I have a big family Read more so I am always around children. Its something I have become very used to and enjoy very much.
