I am a graduate of Humboldt State University. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Education, and a depth of study in Child Development. From San Diego, CA to Eureka, CA, I have had the pleasure of working in numerous schools and districts in our beautiful and diverse state. Throughout my college studies, I have been able to learn and grow by interacting with diverse populations. In my time working and volunteering in the several schools, I have performed various tasks such as: academic tutoring, planning and instructing small to large groups of students, and performing clerical duties. Though my previous positions may differ from the position I am applying to, I have learned various responsibilities and abilities that could be applied to this position such as handling stressful situations, being very organized, having interpersonal skills, and being able Read more to prioritize tasks, Before the summer started I was an Associate Teacher for Junior Kindergarten at an independent school in San Diego. I’m currently a summer nanny, butI start my teacher credential program in the fall at SDSU. I have also cared for my seven nieces and nephews from when they were ages 0-13. I have cared for them with overnights, full/ half days, pick up and drop offs, and meal prep. I’m currently just looking for evenings or date nights.
