Shanna watched our kids for a couple of nights while we were in La Jolla for spring break. They had a great time with her. She was friendly, dependable and great with my 4 and 7 year olds. I will definitely call her next year when we come back to San Diego! -Jennifer J.

Shanna did an excellent job with my two little ones. She was on time and quickly engaged with the kids. She followed their routine to a t and had the house picked up when I returned. I'll definitely use Shanna again!

Shanna is superb with our 3 year old son. We have used her on 5 separate occasions and she always arrives on time, positive and ready to keep up with my busy boy. He always asks for Shanna and the next day asks "when is Shanna coming back." Finding Shanna has been great as we have someone we feel great about leaving our son with so we can get out for adult-only events.

We were in a position of needing a sitter in somewhat short notice, and posted a job. Shanna was one of the first applicants, and we were extremely impressed with her reviews. We contacted her for references, and she got back to us with them the night before the date of the job, so I felt it was best to contact the references in the morning, rather than late at night, and informed Shanna of that, to which she acceded. After reaching one reference and affirming the glowing reviews, I sent Shanna a message with our contact information, accepting her application, and simply asking what she would charge. We never heard anything back from her. Given the great reviews, we assumed - wrongly, it turned out - she would get back to us one way or another. Finally, out of frustration and concern that perhaps something bad had happened, I called the reference again to try to relay word to Shanna and make sure she was okay. Never heard anything back. by now, it was too late to repost the job, so we ended up with a very difficult, stressful evening - it wasn't simply a night out for us. When we got home, I decided to give Shanna an appropriate review, only to find she had blocked her profile from us, effectively preventing us from reviewing her. I had to take this to Sittercity's customer service to get resolution. I don't know why she chose to do this to us, and I have to wonder if there are others out there who have had the same happen, but, I feel that this needs to be known, as a service to other parents seeking care for their children. I sincerely wish I didn't feel the need to write this.

My two daughters, 6 and 7, both loved Shanna. She played so many games and activities with them and the girls had so much fun. They were both in bed when we got home and no problems. This is our first time using a sitter that wasn't a relative or close friend so we were a little worried. It worked out great and we are so relieved. Thank you Shanna for giving us a night out and not feeling guilty that the girls are not being well taken care of. Diane Howard

Shanna was excellent and I would definitely recommend her. She showed up early for both the interview and the job. My 15 month old daughter immediately warmed up to her and we came home to find her sleeping peacefully. We would definitely ask her to babysit again.

Shanna has been amazing with the kids and the kids always ask for her to come back with her daughter the next morning. She cooks, plays with the kids, cleans up, and is always available on short notice. I would recommend to anyone!

I felt comfortable with having Shanna watch our 9 month old daughter from the moment I first met her. She's a burst of energy and is very easy to get along with, understands your concerns, and flexible with her time. I will be more than happy to have Shanna watch our daughter in the future.

Shanna is amazing. My daughter took to her instantly, and, amazingly, so did my hard-to-love dog. She's patient, understanding, talks to my daughter on her level. Best of all, she has a kiddo my kiddo's age -- so we had an instant playdate. Flexible with my hours, my (lack of) dinner selections, and left the place in better condition than when she arrived. My kiddo asked for her again the next day. I cannot recommend Shanna enough. She's awesome.

Shanna was amazing! My husband and I could not have been more impressed with her :) She is very friendly and has a wonderful personality! Our kids woke up in the morning asking "When can we play with Shanna again??" We will definitely ask her to sit for us again with complete confidence that our kids are going to have just as much fun as we are :)

Shanna was so awesome! The kids loved her from the day she came in to meet for an interview! She's super friendly, energetic, and played with the kids instead of just watch them, she's great and we will be using her services again!
