In Fall of 2015, I will begin my 1st year in the masters program at Mills College Early Childhood Education with emphasis on child Life In Hospitals. Child life specialists work primarily in pediatric units of hospitals with pediatric patients, siblings and families on developmental, social, psychological aspects of hospitalization. Originally from Portland, Oregon, I gained much of my nannying and child care experience in the northwest. My undergraduate degree is in psychology, from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington. I have extensive experience working with children and families of various backgrounds for over ten years. Through nanny experiences and hospital work, I have provided care for children with Down syndrome, autism, children with cancer, children who deaf, blind, etc. My philosophy when working with children is that when we are together we have fun. With fun, comes safety and respect and I pride myself in making sure the children I Read more care for feel safe and respected at all ages. As a grad student, I will be busy, but will have weekends and mornings open, as well as date nights to offer. I look forward to meeting you!
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
