I have been babysitting since I was 16 years old, and have babysat children of all ages since then! I recently cared for two adorable sisters, ages 6 months old and two years old for almost a year. I have also worked at a camp for deaf and hard of hearing kids, and have taught swim lessons during summer where I developed an amazing bond with a child who had autism. Last summer, I volunteered at Family House, which houses families of children who are undergoing treatment at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. There, I learned a lot about how much effort and patience it takes to care for a child in need, and is where I decided that I want to work with children in a medical setting after graduation. In addition, I've taken many child development classes at the University of San Francisco as a psychology major, the most Read more recent one being "Evaluating Childhood ADHD." I absolutely love working with kids of all ages, whether it be helping with homework or having fun and being active! One of my favorite things to do is go to the Academy of Sciences museum with them and have picnics in the park after! I hope I get to meet your family soon.
