Hi, I'm Maria! I went St. Philips middle school in Noe Valley from K-8, and then continued on to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for high school before attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a degree in Social Work. I started babysitting when I was a senior in high school for a 6-month-old baby and continued to babysit him off and on in college until he was about 3. Typical duties included changing diapers, dressing, bathing, and feeding, as well as taking him to nearby parks and other excursions such as the library. I am comfortable with children of all ages, and although I view myself as responsible, I still love to goof around with kids! Other Experiences: Worked as a camp assistant/ recreation leader at Camp Mather with SF Rec and Park the past three summers and am currently placed in the city, Personal Assistant in college for Read more students with physical disabilities, intern at an inter-generational living community.
