I have a lot experience working with children! I have worked as a teacher, counselor, and substitute teacher over the last 8 years and I currently work as a paraprofessional and have a regular babysitting job two days a week, but am looking to work a bit more as this city is expensive! I am also working on a master's degree in counseling with a specialization in schools at SFSU. I have casually babysat for the past few years. I have experience taking care of children ages 6 months to 13 years old. This work has typically involved driving children places, making dinner, reading books before bed, changing diapers, making dinner, helping with baths, putting the child to bed, trips to the park and pool, etc. I have also been working in schools the last 8 years; my goal is to be a school counselor at either a middle or Read more high school. Last year I taught at a mental health facility school for children with trauma and behavioral needs. I am very experienced and comfortable with challenging behaviors. I am currently working as a paraprofessional at an SFUSD elementary school. My work mostly involves supporting students with IEPs and special academic needs. I love dogs, cycling, art, yoga, reading, surfing, hiking, and pretty much all outdoor activities! I am an avid cyclist. I ride my bike to commute everyday and often go on rides for fun on the weekends. I also really enjoy crafts and got my bachelor's degree in Art Education with an emphasis in textiles. I am cpr certified and am scheduled to get re-certified the first week of June.
