Hello! I am currently a PhD student in Clinical Psychology, looking to add in some part time babysitting and tutoring to my schedule. I have 10 years of experience working with kids, including as a full time classroom teacher, a drama/music camp counselor, a nanny with the same family for almost 2 years, and an after school and evening babysitter. I love spending time with kids - I love their fresh ideas and curious minds. As a teacher, singer, musician, certified Yoga teacher, artist and Drama educator, I have a lot to offer, and our time together is fun and stimulating - not only for the kids, but for me too! I graduated from New York University, where I studied a mix of Anthropology, Philosophy, Music and Theater.

Alexandra recently came and watched our 14-month-old daughter Simone for a day, after interviewing for a regular position with us. She is such a sweet, engaging, and intuitive person. Our daughter just loved her. They read books and sang songs, and Alexandra had no problem setting her up in the Ergo and going for a long walk, when that was what Simone needed to take a nap. Alexandra is just a great sitter. We would have asked her to be our regular sitter for weekdays, except our schedules didn't fit perfectly, so we went with someone else. Regardless, I highly recommend her, and I will keep her in mind for the future, if anything changes with our schedule.
