Hello, My name is Lina and I love babysitting! I recently relocated to SF and would like to work with a family or two for occasional babysitting. I was in New York City for the last 10 years, Chicago and Ukraine prior to that - and have babysat for the last 14 years :) (since high school) I love children, enjoy getting getting to know them and spending time with them. This may sounds counter-intuitive but it's my zen time. In the past, I've looked after a variety of kids with different needs, characteristics and ages. I'm very patient and flexible, which helps me communicate properly with all kinds of children. I've looked after little energizers (ones who need constant physical engagement), little angels, (the ones who are just too cute to be otherwise), little tempers, (who I've always managed to persuade through reason and simple logic), and little shy Read more ones, (who just need a little time and genuine interest in their world). I'm comfortable with looking after children of any age and gender. I enjoy doing all sorts of activities, whether it's sports, craft or any board games. I must say I love doing art stuff like drawing, painting, however I will never turn down any activity initiated by the child I'm looking after. Hello- Lina has babysat for my 2 young children (ages 2 & 4) for almost a year now. I try to use her about once a week during the weekday and one night a month for date night. We have been extremely pleased with her skills. She is patient, loving, kind and fun! My daughter has multiple food allergies and I have no worries leaving her with Lina. The children love her and ask for her when they have not seen her for a while ;-) She is always on time (or early) and easy to contact. She'd make a great sitter for anyone interested! Just don't over schedule her-I need her too!
