I am currently attending college and majoring in Psychology, where my goal is to become a school counselor. The reason why I chose this career path is because I did plenty of mentoring when I was in high school and became inspired. I was part of the Big Brother Big Sister program. I also mentored elementary and middle school kids through my peer helping class. My passion is helping kids of all ages find their way and let them know that someone will always be there for them. I have experience with children of all ages. I was a camp counselor and had about 20 kids under my supervision. I care for two children, aged 9 and 10, part time. I take them to school in the morning and occasionally help them with homework. I also have experience with various routine- setting situations and milestones from babysitting my cousins. I Read more was very involved with my cousin, who is 8-years-old now, which where my experience with infants and toddlers comes from. I now help care for her little brother who is 2-years-old. I absolutely love arts and crafts and playing outside. I love to read and I have a great imagination. I feel as though my experiences and my focus in school will help impact your family's life in a positive manner.
