I work in Palo Alto at the OFJCC and I watch kids while their parents workout. In other words, I work at a daycare so I have a lot of experience watching and caring for infants, toddlers, and pre-teens. I attend college as a Child Development major working towards my AA in Liberal Studies to become an Elementary teacher. If I am not at work I am babysitting on the side for different families. Of course I watch after the children but I also make sure they have fun while I'm there as well. I also try to incorporate counting and practicing word pronunciation when playing with toddlers. My duties include watching after the children, changing their diapers, playing with them, providing light snacks, as well as light housework. Children are tough critics and they will tell you right off the bat how they feel or think about you and Read more I feel it's important I give of positive energy so that way the kids I am looking after feel they can come to me for whatever it is they need.
