I just moved to this area in August to pursue a Master's degree at San Jose State in social work. I began babysitting when I was 13 years-old and haven't stopped since. I really enjoy working with kids, teaching them and listening to the funny things they say. Professionally, I have worked with children and youth in varying capacities, including public and non-public school settings, residential care facilities, and in private homes. Many of the children that I have worked with have had developmental and learning differences. I am First Aid and CPR certified and have been trained in a multitude of techniques for working with children, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. Babysitting is ideal for me right now because school takes up a large portion of my time and I need work that is more flexible. Ps. I love animals too! I have two cats and a miniature French poodle Read more myself, so If you need baby/pet sitting or just pet sitting, I am open to any and all combinations :-) Thanks for your time!
