I grew up in Evanston, IL and started babysitting for my volleyball coach's three children when I was in High School. Many of her friends started using me as a babysitter as well. Unfortunately, while attending college at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (English Literature major), I was forced to get a part-time job as well and did not have time to babysit. However, while studying abroad in Italy, I volunteered two days a week for a women's shelter and supervised 4+ Italian children at a time ages 4-13. One of my favorite things to do is arts/crafts and reading with children. I graduated university in 2015 and now work with a non profit in San Jose, CA that provides grants to youth in crisis so they can attend wilderness therapy.
