My name is Sophia and I am a college student currently on a break from UCSC. I have worked off and on as a sitter since I was in middle school, with some occasional long-term jobs. I was a part-time sitter for one particular family (two children; 4 and 6) and I would work for them weekends and overnight for over a year. I prepared meals for the kids, helped them with school work, bathed them, and got them ready for bed. I also have spent a lot of time caring for my younger siblings (my youngest brother is 10 years my junior). Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing). I also have volunteered with several educational programs such as the Children's Discovery Museum, Happy Hollow, and the Youth Science Institute, so I have extensive experience in not only caring for children, but also in creating fun Read more and educational activities for kids to enjoy. In particular I love activities that include both nature and art!
