My name is Mary, I am currently a full time student at San Jose State University. I also work part time at Claire’s which is children’s boutique at malls and shopping centers across the country. Because I work part-time, I promise it will not interfere with my job as a sitter. I am the oldest of five children and I have been babysitting on and off for the past 6 years. I do not have any children of my own, but I do volunteer work at a local elementary school, so I work with children on a regular basis. I am currently a Theater Arts and English major, hoping to later teach high school or university students. Being the oldest child in the family, I was to learn about responsibility and watch over my siblings while both of my parents worked full-time jobs. I am very focused on everything and Read more anything I set my mind too. I am fluent in English, and Spanish. I know conversational American Sign Language, and I am currently learning Italian. I love music and being outdoors, and even though I am not proficient in athletic activities, I am always willing to try and make the best out of any situation. Since January of 2012, I began working with one family taking care of the two younger children which happened to be twin boys. I can honestly say that I've grown attached not only to the boys but with the whole family and they've expressed how to them, my parting will be like loosing a member of the family. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them in general. At times it was difficult and a little stressful but I learned a lot about myself and about them too.
