Hi! I'm from Salem, MA, and have been working as a first grade classroom teacher for the past two years in NYC. I am starting my masters in special education at Columbia Teachers College this fall. I taught kindergarten for a year in Boston, and also have taught a STEM program in California. I have been babysitting for multiple families since I was 15 (with children ranging from 0-10), I taught preschool swim lessons for 3 years, worked in a preschool program for 2 years, and worked as a school social worker in college. I have a bachelors degree in social work and psychology. For the families I work with, I usually like to clean, cook, and do laundry. I have wonderful relationships with the families I have worked with-I have seen the children grow up and still attend birthday parties, preschool graduations, send postcards, and visit as much as Read more possible! :) I've worked with twins, newborns, children with autism, rowdy toddlers, and families with crazy dogs. I have driven children to and from activities, and I have also stayed at home with several children on a rainy day and made up craft activities. I do baths, bug catching, book reading, and everything else your child could need. As a teacher, I am also happy to tutor in reading, math, or writing!
