I retired from my local police department almost three years ago. I am married with two grown children. My daughter lives in Hollywood and my son plays baseball in Australia. I have an empty nest with no grandbabies! I also have been taking care of my mother as she has a muscle disease called polymyostitis and has difficulty with her muscle functions. Right now she is confined to a hospital bed, so between my brother and I, we take care of her. I am considering doing a little babysitting. I don’t want anything full time because of my mother. I am responsible, competent and very loving. I do not have any certificates, but I do have common sense!
