Hello. My name is Paige Abshier. I am currently trying to get into a nursing program and hope to work in a hospital labor and delivery unit one day. I enjoy going to church and Cru. My husband is an electrical engineer major at Cal Poly and this year I am hoping to get a nanny job in the San Luis Obispo area. When it comes to child care I am very experienced. I have babysat since I was twelve-years-old, watching children ranging from infant to primary grade levels and have watched infants and toddlers in my church’s nursery since my freshman year of high school. I also have a sister who is eight years younger than me so I have helped care for her through every stage of her life and have helped at a child daycare center. I have acquired skills such as changing diapers, preparing meals, overseeing Read more play time, organizing crafts and helping them with the crafts, putting children down for naps and getting them ready for bed, bathing them, reading to them, helping them brush their teeth, hair, etc. and tidying up houses in general. I am comfortable with getting children ready and getting them to certain functions on time. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. I believe I am qualified to care for your child because I truly know what it is like to live with a child and care for them daily. I would also care for your child as if he were my own.
