I am originally from South Africa where I completed my 4 year bachelor of education degree specializing in early childhood education. I first came to the central coast to work at a summer camp in 2010 and then later to Washington D.C to be a live in au pair for a year. I've always had a love for children and from a young age knew I wanted to pursue a career in teaching just as my mom had done. I have a variety of childcare experience ranging from nannying and tutoring to bring a summer camp counselor. I love being outdoors and interacting in a fun and playful way with the children in my care. I am very creative and love making art projects as well as baking yummy snacks.
