Hi, I'm Sara! I am a freshman at Cal State San Marcos studying pre-med. I'm just starting to get involved in the San Marcos community as I come from Orange County, but I am applying to lots of volunteer organizations in the medical field and can't wait to start! I have 4 dogs and 3 younger siblings, including two crazy little brothers who I have been babysitting their whole lives. Back home I played club soccer for 10 years and high school soccer for 4. In high school I was involved in the Best Buddies special needs program where I learned about the special care and needs of others who may be different than us. With this program I learned about the therapeutic benefits of an artistic, positive learning environment.
