I am a single mom of 2 - a 12 year old daughter that I have part time & a 4 year old son who is in preschool full time. I’ve been babysitting since I was very young & I have always loved caring for children. I’ve had experience with children of all ages & am very comfortable with newborns, infants & toddlers. I’m mature, caring, organized & responsible. Safety is the top priority for me. I try to use everyday moments as a learning experience for children at any age. I love being able to teach kids & watch them grow. I have my certification as a Child Care Specialist through USCI (I finished with a 94% GPA & was on the Dean’s List.) I am CPR (Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/ AED) certified. I also completed online courses through the San Francisco Archdiocese Shield the Vulnerable program & Read more received 3 certificates. (Shield the Vulnerable educates adults and young people about child abuse, predators, bullying, proper boundaries, healthy relationships, respect, the perils of cyberspace, elder abuse, life skills, and protects the most vulnerable members of society from maltreatment.) I am currently taking classes online through Skyline College for my Early Childhood Education certificate & have 3 ECE units. I can also provide current references for children I've cared for.
