Hello, I am a graduate student and the daughter of two Marin County educators looking to connect with a family in need of a consistent nanny or occasional babysitting. I've cared for a wide range of kids from toddles to pre-teens, shy to outgoing, and I truly enjoy the time I spend as a caregiver. Three qualities I feel are important when working with children are patience, compassion and a sense of humor. I enjoy taking the time to get to know the unique personalities and interests of each kid. I find the activities I enjoy in my personal time (reading, being outside, cooking) are activities that they often enjoy too. Safety is top priority, and I believe this can be achieved while allowing kids the space to be creative, silly and active. I have also served as a camp director for Camp Marinwood where I was responsible for coordinating the care and activities of 20+ children of all ages. In additional to my experience working with children, I have worked in biomedical research and most recently health policy and promotion. I am currently pursing a masters degree in Chinese Medicine.
