Hi, my name is Stacy Marin. I am 26 years old and will turn 27 in July. I have a puppy. Her name is Layla, and she is 3 years old. When I got Layla, COVID started two months after she had helped me, just as I had helped her. I think having a dog is the greatest thing ever! My favorite hobbies are taking my dog for walks, going to the movies on Tuesdays, and sometimes even the weekend. A new hobby I want to start is painting. I feel like painting helps you express yourself with colors and with your ideas. My major is Child Development, and I have always loved working with children. I think working with children helps you learn a lot because you are also teaching them a lot of things. I believe being apart of their lives is an important thing because you teach Read more them right and wrong, but mostly you enjoy their company with a lot of fun! My goals are to finish my associate degree and later transfer to finish my bachelor's. I want to open a childcare center one day to have my own business and to be able to work with children and explore with them. I’m a group leader at an elementary school. I’m a teacher with 5th and 6th graders. It's challenging, but I have been working there for almost two years, and it's the best thing. Sometimes it is challenging due to them being in their teens, and they give attitude back. But it’s okay; they are barely learning how to express and use their emotions.
