  • Comfortable with pets

I have both professional and informal experience working with kids and teenagers. I hold a dual Master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy. I am able to bridge my professional experience with my personable qualities that provide both heart-felt and educational child or teen care. I am a balance of energy and calm, playful and serious. I love being outdoors and active or inside with art activities. I also have two lovely dogs named "Bear" and "Moose" and am well-practiced with dog-care. Being in a family is often stressful and challenging. If interested, I can offer family interventions, therapy focused art-based activities for kids, and much more. I have CPR training. I have skills in climbing (even teaching!) , softball/baseball, basketball, running, and much more (I was an athlete in high school and college). I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
