I have had diverse experiences working with children. Teaching a variety of students is not the only way that I have been responsible for children. I've been providing childcare for neighbors, friends, and family members from time to time for over twenty years. I have worked as a nanny and babysitter, usually providing childcare in a child's own home for a few hours at a time. But, I have also watched children for the duration of a day and done some overnight stays, especially as I'm trying to be a great aunt to my brother's four children. I have also provided recreational opportunities or trips to a coffee shop, movie theater, or park when caring for children. When I worked as a nanny, I helped kids with homework, get meals, or travel to sports practices.

We visited the Santa Cruz area from out of town and Jenny looked after our 7-week old daughter while we attended a wedding. We appreciated how responsive to messages Jenny was and that she was on time. We felt very comfortable leaving our newborn with Jenny as she is clearly a very dependable and responsible caregiver. We would definitely want to work with her again next time we are in the area!
