For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with kids. I began babysitting at the age of fifteen as a mother's helper for a family with a year old baby. After this experience, I worked with a family with a four year old girl full of energy and an eleven year old boy on the autism spectrum. This was a challenging and rewarding experience, and I stayed with this family for three years, only leaving in order to go to college. Since then, I have worked with a class of elementary school aged children to teach them dance and movement skills, interned in a children's ballet class, and have been a camp counselor for the Sacramento City Summer Oasis program. All of these experiences have taught me how to engage and entertain children as well as how to keep calm even when things get crazy!
