Hi! I'm Lauren! I am a recent graduate of a Masters program in Occupational Therapy and I have several years of babysitting experience - I just love working with kiddos! In the past couple years, I have been babysitting almost entirely for families with twins (primarily infants/toddlers but I have experience with older children as well). I am also an auntie to boy/girl twins, now 18 months old. I received my undergraduate degree at UCLA. While attending UCLA, I worked at one of their on-campus early childhood centers and absolutely loved every minute of it - I always say its the best job I ever had! I never forgot that and it ended up greatly influencing my later decision (after working for several years in a different field) to go back to school for a career that would allow me to help children directly - occupational therapy. I very recently Read more (finally!) completed my Master's and certification and I'm in the process of receiving my license. In the meantime, I have more availability than usual and would love to be able to take on some additional babysitting. Along with my extensive experience babysitting in Los Angeles, I have also completed clinical rotations in pediatric clinics and I volunteered for several years with children through School on Wheels - a program for tutoring homeless youth one-on-one. I am also CPR certified through the American Heart Association. I love baking, trying out new brunch spots, visiting museums, and going to the Hollywood Bowl. If you think that I might be a good fit for your family, please feel free to reach out. I'm happy chat or provide any additional information. Thanks! (References available upon request)
