I have 24 ECE units and over 20 years of experience as an infant/toddler/preschool teacher. The bulk of my day care center experience has been in infant-toddler classrooms and I am therefore very comfortable caring for more than one infant/toddler at a time. Over the years, I have had ongoing experience as an at-home caregiver for infants through school age children. I am passionate about providing quality care, which for me includes the nurturing of children's self-esteem, sense of independence and innate creativity, in addition to insuring their health and safety. I am playful, loving and gentle and truly enjoy spending time with little ones. I love reading to and with them, facilitating open-ended art projects, and exploring the natural world with them. I am also a singer/songwriter and music therapist and love bringing music to my work with children!
