Bonjour, my name is Crystal and I love to read! That's the 1st thing that pops into my mind when I'm asked to describe myself. I have loved to read since as long as I can remember and would love to help your child discover what a wonderful hobby reading is! I started babysitting when I was about 13 years old,well officially, I kept my 2 little sisters for free on many an occasion. I was a live-in nanny for 4 years to put myself through college and moved to Cali after graduation. My responsibilities were pretty much everything you can imagine as long as it dealt with him; morning duties, evening and night duties, cooking, laundry, bedtime, and some sick nights too. I was with him from 5 months old, I can't tell you how hard it was to leave the lil guy (aka: nephew: yeah he calls me Read more auntie :-)), I Skype him at least once a week and visit the family whenever I go back to TX. I worked an office job when arrived in Cali because I didn't want to become attached to another child like I did him, but it's been 3 years and I love kids. So here I am on Sittercity hoping to get to know another wonderful family. I am CPR certified, can teach basic French, and the great outdoors and I are buddies, lovvee to hike. I am great with pets, except for snakes and tigers, I draw the line there. I can't think of anything else, I'm not great with talking about myself, but would love to reply to any questions or concerns you may have. :-)
