My name is Christine and I am currently a stay at home mom to my two children, ages 4 and 2 in Central Simi Valley. I am looking to start a very small daycare in my home preferably for preschool aged children who can participate in learning activities with my children, however I am open to all ages! I have experience caring for children ranging from newborn to teenagers. We like to go on field trips to the library, beach, and learn new things. My kids have (and LOVE) a daily green organic smoothie, love to bake healthy treats in the kitchen, play in the organic garden and their own mini gardens in the backyard, have story time and would love to have some friends participate in all these things with them. I cook fresh food for my family, organic whenever I can and mostly gluten free (daughter's dietary need) Read more and have a bachelor's degree in psychology. We have a large back yard and live very close to a small park. My house is child proofed with gates and cabinet locks. I have experience working with special needs children as my daughter is autistic. Open communication between parents and caregiver is very important to me! If you would like to bring me a notebook or journal I would be happy to write down a log of everything we did and learned that day to send home with you on a daily basis.
