I am a recent graduate of Pepperdine University taking a year-long break from school and my career. I plan on taking on short-term jobs that I enjoy and traveling whenever the opportunity comes. I have cared for my three younger siblings my entire life, have volunteered at the Children's Ministry at my church for four years, was a Vacation Bible School crew leader, have helped at a family daycare run by my grandparents and have babysat the children of family friends for years. My mom has always had a career in childcare since I was a baby giving me the opportunity to learn from her teachings, crafts, activities and ideas. The majority of my experience has been caring for toddlers, though I have looked after children from the ages of newborn to sixteen. I am CPR and First Aid certified and can swim. I can prepare meals, arts and crafts, Read more and indoor and outdoor activities based on the age-range of the child. I even own a Pinterest with a board full of ideas for when I care for children. Being in my early twenties also gives the advantage of staying active and keeping up with the attention needed for a child. I hope to find a nanny job in either Southern California, Texas, Hawaii or outside of the U.S. to stay close to home and/or have the opportunity to see the world.
