Hello! My name is Emma. I just moved to the Bay Area and I am planning on starting a Ph.D. in Child Development at Stanford or Berkeley in the fall. Until then I am looking for some part-time nannying or babysitting work, since working with kids is what I love to do most. I have a lot of experience working with children. I started babysitting when I was sixteen and have had several long-term nannying jobs since. Feel free to ask me for references! My area of study is child psychology and development and I have spent the last several years working with kids in a variety of settings. In my last job I was the Children's Case Manager at a non-profit that helped families going through tough times. In that capacity I worked with dozens of children of all ages. Emma is great. My son was always happy to see her, she was always on time and would respond quickly to any request. I loved that she was always enthusiastic in her interactions and able to keep my toddler engaged, not the easiest task!

Emma is the best sitter we have ever had. She worked for us for about 6 months several days a week before leaving for college in Colorado. She was so wonderful with our girls - always coming up with fun games and activities (she made the best treasure hunts). She did a great job having the girls pickup after playtime, and even washed the lunch dishes after feeding the girls. Emma was great at communicating any issues that arose with the girls and was open to input. She ever lived with our family for a month this summer before leaving for school and came on a week vacation with our family - she will be greatly missed. :)
