Hi! My name is Deja. My love for babysitting ignited with the birth of my first brother in 2006. Having been an only child for 8 years, finally experiencing sisterhood gave me an opening to realize how precious a child is and appreciate and start to master the work that goes into raising a child. Having heavily assisted my parents with my first brother, in 2008 when my second brother was born, I knew the ropes and since I was older, I took a lot of the responsibilities that couldn't be handled all by my parents, whether in bedtime, feeding or simply playing and teaching them. Now that we're all older I have also assisted in the growing up process, making sure they are doing and understand their homework, making sure they accomplish the tasks they need to and being a friend to them. Sure, I have assisted and babysat Read more other kids, whether in church or for date night, but my proudest and best experience is that of being an older sister.
