I am an auntie to my little nephew and occasionally watch him as well as take care of the house pets (dogs) when my sister needs to have mommy time. I have an understanding of the needs of a child and I am patient. Since my nephew has ADHD, special needs kids are not foreign to me, as I am able to accommodate their needs. I am have been a camp counselor for two years in the past. I have watched over 10+ kids at a time and am able to maintain a safe environment. Along with my previous camp counseling, I have babysat preteens as well, due to their parents busy schedule over the summer. I consider myself to be a positive person that adapts well in any environment. I am able to communicate well with others, and set good examples for those I come in contact with.
